  • Saline implant: Breast implant filled with a salt water solution.
  • Silicone implant: Breast implant filled with an elastic gel solution.
  • Breast Augmentation: A procedure, also known as augmentation mammoplasty, that enlarges the breast with implants. Other names for the procedure include breast enlargement and breast enhancement.
  • Breast Reconstruction: Achieved through several reconstructive plastic surgery techniques that attempt to restore a breast to a near normal shape, appearance and size following a mastectomy.
  • Breast Lift: Technically called mastopexy, this procedure lifts and improves the shape of a female breast. When an increase in breast volume is desired, breast implants may be inserted in conjunction with a breast lift.
  • Botox: (Botulinum Toxin) a simple, non-surgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows.
  • Brow Lift: A surgical procedure to correct a low-positioned or sagging brow. Smoothes furrows across the forehead and between the brows.
  • Dermal Fillers: Dermal fillers are non-surgical treatments injected into the face and lips to enhance shallow contours or soften facial creases and wrinkles. Dermal fillers are based on hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a sugar found naturally in human skin or microspheres made of calcium hydroxyapatite suspended in a gel carrier.
  • Arm Lift: This procedure, also known as brachioplasty, reshapes the under-portion of the upper arm, from the underarm region to the elbow.
  • Thigh Lift: Reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin or fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body.
  • Abdominoplasty: A surgical procedure, also known as tummy tuck, that corrects the apron of excess skin hanging over your abdomen. Abdominoplasty also can tighten muscles that have been separated and weakened by pregnancy.
  • Collagen: A natural protein used as an injectable filler for soft tissue augmentation.
  • Dermabrasion: Mechanical polishing of the skin.
  • Flap Techniques: Surgical techniques used to reposition your own skin, muscle and fat to reconstruct or cover your breast.
  • Injectable Fillers: Substances used to restore volume and your youthful appearance.
  • Laser Resurfacing: A method to change the surface of the skin that allows new, healthy skin to form, resulting in a smoother texture. The procedure involves the use of a laser to remove layers of damaged skin to allow a tighter and more uniformed surface after healing.
  • Lower Body Lift: Surgical procedure to correct sagging of the abdomen, buttocks, groin and outer thighs.
  • Otoplasty: Also known as ear surgery or ear pinning, this procedure improves the shape, position or proportion of the ear.

  • Skin Resurfacing: Treatment to improve the texture, clarity and overall appearance of your skin.
  • Soft Tissue Augmentation: The use of injectable fillers to restore volume and your youthful appearance.
  • Tissue Expansion: A procedure that can substitute for skin grafts. An inflatable balloon called a tissue expander is placed under the skin near the scar site to stretch additional skin to be used to revise a scar. Oftentimes, multiple procedures are needed.
  • TRAM Flap: Also known as transverse rectus abdominus myocutaneous flap, this surgical technique uses muscle, fat and skin from your own abdomen to reconstruct the breast.
  • Tummy Tuck: A surgical procedure, also known as abdominoplasty, that corrects the apron of excess skin hanging over your abdomen. Abdominoplasty also can tighten muscles that have been separated and weakened by pregnancy.
  • Mastopexy: Also called a breast lift, this procedure lifts and improves the shape of a female breast. When an increase in breast volume is desired, breast implants may be inserted in conjunction with a breast lift.
